Kids are struggling with reading - You can be a fantastic tutor!
All you need is a caring heart and a desire to empower a child to learn! If youメre 50 or older, and you want to make a real and lasting impact on the life of a child you could be the volunteer we're looking for!

Tutors receive all the training, materials, and regular coaching required to help early elementary school students gain the confidence and academic skills needed to be successful in elementary school, middle school, and beyond. No prior experience is necessary, and we make it easy. Our tutors are matched with either a single child or a small group of children (no more than 3) for a school year and meet with them twice a week. This gives them a chance to build a strong, supportive relationship and serve as a role model for students as they help them build literacy skills.

If you can make a real commitment to a student you can make a real difference in their life!

Skill Desired: Education/Training

Matching Interests: Volunteering from Home, Indoors, Geared for 50+ volunteers, Community, Children & Youth, Education & Literacy, Seniors
