The trainer, an unpaid volunteer, is responsible for moving Instructor Candidates through the Instructor Training system. You will work with the State Coordinator.

Requirements: Strong facilitation & presentation skills. Strong oral & written communication skills. Prior Instructor experience with at least 3 classes taught in the past year. Strong knowledge of state-specific information. Ability to build strong partnerships & work with diverse populations. Commitment to the goals, policies, & priorities of AARP & AARP Driver Safety. Working knowledge of personal computers, software & electronic communication systems & access to email & Internet. Must complete training modules on volunteer website. Although this is a volunteer position, there is compensation provided for any charges you may incur due to travel.
