Direct Patient Care Volunteers enhance the patient experience by providing periodic non-medical visits to patients and families at the end of life. We serve patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities and at home providing Companionship, Memory Support, Socialization and Supportive Presence. All training is provided free of charge.

If you have a compassionate heart and a willingness to learn, we want to talk to you. Choose to make a difference! We serve patients in 16 counties of the greater Chicago area. You can volunteer close to home at hours convenient to you. All CDC protective protocols are observed for safe visits. In particular we are seeking volunteers willing to serve Cook County, South and Southwestern Communities. Give back to your community while developing new skills. Opportunities are flexible and ongoing.

Choose the program that best suits your interest: Companion Volunteer, Love On Leashes Pet Team, Music Companion, Spiritual Care Companion, We Honor Veterans Volunteer, Together We Serve (Teams of 2).
