We are looking for individuals with a heart for service to join Grace Hospice as Companion Volunteers.

Grace Hospice is a local nonprofit developed through a partnership with Cassia and Mount Olivet Careview Home. As a faith-based organization, we follow the grassroots philosophy of hospice, which is service rich in spiritual care and volunteerism. We serve the 7-county metro area in Minnesota.

What a typical Companion Volunteer visit looks like:
- Meet 1:1 with a patient 2X/month (approx. 3 hours/month) on the days that fit your schedule.
- Provide companionship and personal interaction in a comforting, calming presence.
- Examples of companionship: read to patient, reminisce, help patient with light housework, accompany patient on walks or to various group events in their facility, play games, sit and hold a patientメs hand, listen/play music.

Training:
We provide in-depth training for all of our volunteers and work closely with you to ensure you are fully equipped to meet with patients.

Length of commitment:
We ask that our volunteers serve a minimum of 3 months or 50 hours.
