Volunteer advocates provide support, information, referrals and safety planning to victims of sexual assault, domestic violence and hate crimes at hospitals and police departments throughout Rhode Island.

Our 30 hour training program will provide you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to work with victims of all ages throughout your year-long commitment. No previous experience is required.

Volunteer Trainings are held several times throughout the year. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driverメs license, submit to a criminal background check, complete all training sessions, and have a car. Advocates are eligible for certification upon successful completion of the training.
