Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood.

The Cascades Region holds blood drives all around our community at local businesses, community centers, places of worship, and educational institutions. It is crucial to have volunteer support to ensure the drives function efficiently and donors are given an experience that encourages them to return and give the gift of life. Volunteers in the Donor Ambassador Position will positively and professionally represent the Red Cross by providing excellent customer service to enhance the blood donor experience.

Volunteer Responsibilities include:
Manage donor experience by assisting staff with initial intake, facilitating donor flow, and supporting donors recover after blood donation.

Matching Interests: Handicap accessible, Indoors, Community, Emergency & Safety, Health & Wellness
