Disaster Action Teams provide 24-hour emergency response to local disasters, particularly house fires, ensuring that those affected have access to resources for basic necessities such as food, shelter and clothing. Our Disaster Action Team is made up of responders who will be on-call for a minimum of four shifts per month. When there is a local home fire in your area, the Red Cross will dispatch you with another team member to help the household affected by the fire.

Volunteers must be 18+ and will need access to their own transportation. All training will be provided at no cost.
