Calling volunteer drivers in Bergen County, NJ. Table to Table is a community-based food rescue program that collects fresh, wholesome food that would otherwise be wasted and delivers it to community agencies that serve the hungry in Northern New Jersey. In 2020, we rescued enough food for 38 million meals! Our Food Rescue volunteers pick up good, excess food from supermarkets, grocery stores, restaurants, farmerメs markets, caterers and corporate cafeterias and immediately deliver it to nearby soup kitchens, food pantries, group homes and community food programs in Bergen County, NJ. Volunteers can commit to a weekly food rescue run, or simply check the app daily for pop-up rescues. A rescue can be done within one hour and is a contact-less experience.

Volunteers must be appropriately licensed, insured and have their own vehicle. Families and kids are also welcome to volunteer. If you would like to volunteer, please download the Table to Table I-Rescue app on iOs or Android. You must email volunteer@tabletotable.org to sign a volunteer agreement before beginning any volunteer work.
