DAT (Disaster Action Team) team members (not available on the Big Island)-Must pick two or three 6 hour shifts every three weeks. On-call for a week at a time. 2nd Responders that respond for things like home fires and flooding (small scale disasters). Receives call from Duty officer, responds accordingly. Not virtual, car required. Comfort and care, financial assistance, mental health support, and housing as needed.
