Twenty-one days can make a world of difference in the life of a teen facing homelessness. Open your heart and home to a young person needing a short-term, temporary place to stay! Host homes are an immediate, short-term solution for youth who are needing a safe place to stay due to a variety of factors such as poverty, family conflict, gender identity or sexual orientation. Host homes provide a welcoming environment for a youth to stay in their own community while Cocoon House staff mobilize to reunite the family or identify a long-term housing solution. The typical stay is under 21 days or less. Cocoon House will be with you and the teen every step of the way.

We invite individuals or families (of all different types) in Snohomish County, WA to be part of the solution to youth homelessness in your own community. Whether you could provide a stay for a couple of nights or a few weeks, we would love to talk with you!
