Supervise Instructor Training, Implementation, & evaluation of the AARP Smart Driver Program Instructors in an assigned District. Screen potential Instructor Candidates & work with District Coordinator to help Instructor Candidates navigate through the training process in a timely manner. Manage & evaluate/observe Instructors within a defined district. Monitors loss of Instructors & Host Locations within their assigned districts, & reacts quickly to replace through recruitment tactics. Complete the training modules on the volunteer website.
Plan & conduct one annual district workshop for instructors within their assigned district. Maintain timely communication & contact with District Coordinator and State Coordinator, Host Locations, & volunteers reporting to the assigned district. Actively seeks to involve diverse populations, businesses & organizations in ADS activities. Reimbursement for all official AARP ADS expenses. Eligible for participation in the ADS National Recognition & Rewards Program.
