Expressing feelings in writing can be beneficial in times of grief. Join author Cindy Eastman for guidance on developing your own writing craft.
About the Event
Grief is often experienced in community although it is a uniquely personal and individual journey. When something so challenging and difficult becomes hard to talk about, writing is a way to break through the barriers that keep us from sharing our pain.
Research shows that writing can be a healing way to deal with challenging life situations such as loss and grief. Writer Cindy Eastman will share her personal experiences as well as strategies, prompts and support to help you craft a writing practice of your own. Participants are encouraged to have writing materials available during the webinar for short writing activities.
