The Library extends to the community access to a wide range of cultural and educational programs and serves as a repository for local history, unique materials, and exhibits.Established in 1857, the library has expanded its collection to include board books, paperback and hardcover books, books on tape or CD, magazines, and videotapes and DVDs. Woods Memorial Library strives to maintain a balance between age-old classics and literature of today. Additionally, we offer programs and services that encompass the entire family, from babies and preschool-aged children to teens, young adults and adults. With something for everyone, the library is a source of knowledge and entertainment for people of all ages.
