Well-rounded kids need areas devoted to quiet play, like building with legos, reading books, or playing with dolls. Wonderwild includes enrichment programs* that fulfill the "wonder" side of children with events and activities such as: Story Time: September's story time theme is "Taking Flight" - birds, rockets, airplanes, anything that flies; October's is "Halloween"; November is "World Cultures"; appropriate for all ages Meet the Musician: - Meet the Musician: Kids meet musicians of all genres and ages in order to give them an up close and personal look into musicians and their musical instruments, i.e. a cellist from a symphony, guitarist or drummer; appropriate for all ages Meet the Artist: Families are invited to meet a local artist and then participate in an inspired art activity; appropriate for all ages Drop-in Arts & Crafts: Children can drop-in anytime this activity is offered. We explore different art mediums usually based on a monthly theme; appropriate for all ages Kids get physical running, jumping and playing on equipment which includes: One of the city's only kid-powered train with an indoor track--kids exert their own energy to make their cars move A giant 28-ft. wide indoor inflatatable "Jumpoline"--it's like jumping on the biggest bed ever, safe for even toddlers Soft play structures designed by product designers and child development experts, allowing kids of all ages to create their own dynamic area of play that never gets old
