The 2016 Autumn Trails brought the blending of the old with the new. Many old events were revived and new events were added to the lineup. A fan favorite was the newly added Grand Parade which was held on the last Saturday in September and designed to kick off the upcoming month’s festivities. People lined the streets to catch commemorative 2016 Autumn Trails cups and beads and see the Autumn Trails Queen Contestants as well as the Raiderettes, WHS Cheerleaders and many others le. The parade was led by Mayor Randy Parrish and Grand Marshall "Uncle Bob" Willis.

Saturday, October 1 saw the crowning of Queen Autumn Trails, Summer Geraci and her court Kaitlin Jones and Star Boggs. Howard Rosser, Gerald Post, Grayford Jones, David Rose, Brett Burnett and Mike Banks were inducted in to the Autumn Trails Hall of Fame.
