About Us:

West Village Eats: Supporting Education with Taste is a local community festival of cooking and food that will raise funds in support of education and enrichment programs at PS3, the West Village's public elementary school.

PS3 offers an integrated arts curriculum with rigorous standards that fosters creative thinking, scientific curiosity and a love for learning - all while taking individual learning styles into account. PS3 has a full service Cooking Room, as well as a Wellness-in-the Schools program that collaborates with the cafeteria staff to produce healthy menus and eating habits. The school garden produces organic greens, herbs and vegetables for the salad bar. Every Spring, 5th grade students build a restaurant in the school, prepare lunch, and service it to their classmates.

The First Annual West Village Eats was such a success that we are bringing it to you again this October 22nd, 2016! All proceeds go directly to benefit the school.

West Village Eats is generously supported by the following local restaurants of this community: Brodo, Brooklyn Fare Market,  High Street on Hudson, Houseman, L'Artusi, La Newyorkina, Li-Lac Chocolates, Market Table, Murray's Cheese, Perry St, Piora, Quality Eats, Red Farm, 2nd City, Swine, Tapestry, The Clam, The Little Owl, The Meatball Shop, Untitled at the Whitney. Please remember to visit them the next time you dine out!
