West Baton Rouge Primary Care

West Baton Rouge Primary Care opened its doors January 2, 2008. It became the fourth federally-qualified health center under the Primary Care Providers for a Healthy Feliciana, Inc. umbrella. Meredith Johnson, APRN, and Zelma Randall, APRN provide primary care services from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; 8:00am to 5:00pm Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Appointments are encouraged to reduce wait time, but walk-ins are welcome. Appointments are usually available the same day or the next. The clinic accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and most commercial insurances. We also offer a sliding fee scale based on income level and family size and accept major credit cards or cash as payment. We provide labs on site and referrals for dental services to RKM Dental Clinic in Clinton. Mental health services that include medication management, psychiatric evaluations, and counseling are available on site. These services are provided by our mental health team, which consists of J. Gary Chaney, APRN, APMHNP-BC and Luanne Miller, LCSW. Assistance for patients unable to afford their medications is also available through the 340B Drug Program and various pharmacy assistance programs.
