Werner Christmas Tree Farm

Our family business is nestled among the woods and countryside just outside of Middlebury, VT. We open for business each year the Friday after Thanksgiving. We run a choose & cut farm, allowing you to start your holiday season with a family outing, walking through the snow to find and cut the perfect tree. We are always happy to send a Christmas elf with you as a guide and assistant. Or if you prefer the convenience of a precut tree, we keep our racks stocked with fresh, Vermont grown trees. They come either from one of the three fields of trees we maintain in Lincoln VT, or from other Vermont tree growers. This allows us to ensure that our precuts are fresh and were grown with the same care and expertise as the trees in our choose & cut fields.

The Christmas shop has complementary cookies and hot cocoa on the weekends for children to enjoy while browsing our wreaths and other greenery. We are happy to turn on our G scale model train or take guests to visit the ponies who live next to the Christmas shop.  If you have loved ones far from home who would like something from Vermont this season, we can mail wreaths, kissing balls and even trees to them.  Please ask us about arranging shipping for troops overseas.

We sell our own pure Vermont maple syrup, maple cream, maple candy, and honey.  Maple and honey are made and packaged in our on-site sugarhouse.  Cheryl and Amanda now manage two beehives and produced their fifth crop of honey this year.  We are happy to also have a small amount of comb honey available this year.
