About Us:

Wend-Tyler Winery is owned and operated by David and Suzanne Tyler of Modesto, California. We started the winery in 2001 and released the first vintage of our "2001 Wend-Tyler Chardonnay" on November 9, 2002. The Chardonnay grapes used for this wine come from a thirty four year old vineyard in Modesto. The vineyard is owned by the Wend Family; Loretta, Kathleen and my wife Suzanne, I have the pleasure of farming it. By farming our own grapes we have ultimate control of the quality of fruit used in our wines. Better fruit makes better wine!
