Wells Public Library

Mission Statement

-Wells Public Library provides information and services for the residents of the community in their pursuit of educational, cultural, personal and recreational needs.

-Special emphasis is placed on making current, high-demand materials available.

-Children are encouraged to develop an interest in reading and learning through strong programs for children and parents. Importance is placed on stimulating young adult interest in appreciation for reading and learning through programs and services.

-The Library serves as a helpful reference center for learning and problem solving, stimulating lifelong use by all Wells residents

-The library actively cooperates with other agencies in support of the literacy needs of all ages.

-The Library accomplishes this by collecting, organizing and disseminating information in a variety of formats to serve the diverse needs of the community.
