The Friends of the Wayne Public Library is a non-profit group involved in activities which directly benefit the library. Among it’s goals are:

· To stimulate public support for the Library.

· To encourage greater use of the Library.

· To enjoy the fellowship of other Library Friends.

· To encourage gifts, endowments and bequests to the Library.

· To support the Library in developing its services and facilities for the community.

Some members support the Friends simply by paying their annual dues, while others become more involved by donating their time. Every dollar raised by the Friends is funneled directly back to e Public Library. The Friends personal and financial support is critical to our library’s efforts to provide the best possible service and materials to our community.
