About Us:

Washington Lake Park, covering 330 acres, is the largest municipal park in New Jersey. The Park was developed over the course of many years with municipal funds and assistance from the NJ Green Acres Program, and was dedicated in 1992. The Park trails are open daily from sunrise to sunset. The Park boasts 3 playground areas, all are ADA compliant and two are handicap accessible. Our youth sports programs get to enjoy our many athletic fields including softball, baseball, soccer and lacrosse. Open to the public are basketball courts, tennis courts, sand volley ball courts, three covered pavilions with grills that are available to reserve, a koi pond, cedar lake where you can fish, paved and natural walking trails, multi-use recreation area available to reserve that includes Futsal, Dodgeball and Basketball and restroom facilities. There is a separate Dog Park available within the park (see left). Dogs ARE NOT allowed in regular park areas. To rent a pavilion or picnic area, a field or to book an event at the Amphitheater you can print an application below. Applications are now being processed at Washington Lake Park.
