Washington County Library is the very best place to start!The Washington County Library is one of four libraries in the Pettigrew Regional Library System.

The mission of the library is to:

Ensure that residents of our county have the right and means to free and open access to information;
Defend the principles of intellectual freedom;
Enrich lives by encouraging and supporting lifelong learning by promoting literacy and cultural experiences;
Provide materials and information services to meet the educational and recreational needs of the community; and
Cooperate with and support the efforts of library organizations and other agencies with compatible goals.
