Wapakoneta Summer Moon Festival

Wapakoneta, OH 45895

419-738-2911

History:

Historic Downtown Wapakoneta comes alive as the streets are closed for four days and nights of celebration.

It’s about honoring the past while living in the present.  For over 25 years people from near and far come together for a giant street party commemorating “one small step.”  Concurrent events are held at the nearby Armstrong Air and Space Museum making this festival truly worth visiting every day.

This year mark’s the 52nd Anniversary of Apollo 11.  Come celebrate with us in Neil Armstrong’s Hometown!  This year, we're celebrating the four Navy Seals or "Frogmen" who pulled Neil, Buzz and Mike out of the Pacific Ocean.  So join us for the Year of the Frogmen.
