About Us:
Walker Independent Theatre was founded in February 2002 by a group of friends who wanted to do something just a little different. We came from many different backgrounds, but we had one desire in common, to create quality theatre in the Northwest Alabama area.
We chose the name Walker Independent Theatre to best represent our philosophy. We are not affiliated with any church, school, political or social group. This means we don't have to slant the plays we perform in any particular direction. They just have to be good!
