Volunteers in Medicine of Cape May County

VIM is a free health care clinic for residents of Cape May County, who meet financial eligibility criteria and slip through the gaps in the Affordable Care Act.

VIM's focus is on primary health care, emphasizing disease prevention, health promotion and patient education in an easily accessible facility with the same dignity and confidentiality afforded in the private sector.

VIM relies on approximately 100 active volunteers who log more than 10,000 hours per year to provide care to 500 patients with more than 3,000 patient visits. VIM relies on the munificence of the community for the funds necessary to provide care.
