Viva Las VeGrass The Green Initiative Bluegrass Festival

The Southern Nevada Bluegrass Music Society is a 503c non-profit celebrating it’s 42nd anniversary this year. We are committed to the preservation and promotion of bluegrass.

While our club hosted one of the first bluegrass festivals in the west from 1988 until 2007 it is now that we finally bring bluegrass to Las Vegas on a major scale. We also believe that since our music is traditionally acoustic and thus “solar powered” we feel it is only fitting to include local partners that are leading the way concerning renewable energy, conservation, recycling, sustainability and more in our community.
