Vinings United Methodist Church

Mission:

The mission of Vinings United Methodist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Our vision is to draw people into a relationship of new life with Jesus Christ through dynamic worship, faith building small groups, committed service, and life-changing missions. We believe that this vision should inform all aspects of our mission here at Vinings. Our identity is that of the vine. Since our location is Vinings, we are inspired by the words of Christ as written in the book of John 15:5, "I am the vine, you are the branches...apart from me you can do nothing." We wish to remain united with Christ, just as the branches unite with the grapevine. As long as we remain connected to the vine, our efforts will bear fruit.
