Open: Year Round
The Vin du Lac Estate is 34 acres of prime orchard land first farmed in the 1920's. Â We still farm 10 acres of apples, but in 2002 we planted "Michaela's Vineyard", named after Vin du Lac Muse, Michaela Markusson. Â A dozen varietals were planted as Larry experimented to learn what would best suit the Lake Chelan climate and terroir. Â
Approximately 25 tons of wine grapes are harvested from Michaela's Vineyard each year. Â Vin du Lac also sources fruit from several other vineyards in the Lake Chelan AVA, Wahluke Slope and the Yakima Valley.Â
