EarthFest 2017 will once again be held at Heaven Hill Farm on Route 94 on Sunday. The 17th such festival and is organized by Vernon Chamber Charities and the Vernon EarthFest Committee.
The hundreds of people who attended from Vernon and neighboring communities can come out a fairly-warm day for the five-hour Earth Day celebration. Events in the greenhouse included Snakes ’n’ Scales, Eyes of the Wild, and Birds of Prey. Events held on the covered patio area include the Bear Group, Sierra Club’s New Jersey Chapter Skylands Group, and the Vernon Township Environmental Commission.
