The Vermont State Dance Festival is a day long series of professionally led workshops, standards based faciltated and adjudicated rehearsals, and an evening performance open to the public with choreographies performed by student dancers and professionals.
This day of dance is designed for high school aged dancers in high school or studio dance programs and their teachers from throughout Vermont.Â
The goal of the festival is for the student dancers and teachers to have the chance to grow in their own abilities (technically and artistically), share and learn from one another and professionals in the field, make connections, and expand their horizons in the world of dance and performance.
The Vermont State Dance Festival occurs annually and has grown steadily since it began in 2003.
