Our Mission

The mission of VTIFF is to enrich the community and bring the world to Vermont through film. VTIFF fulfills its mission through the following goals:

-Cultivate an understanding and appreciation of cinema as an art form through curated programs
-Present a diverse and inclusive range of high quality films from the US and around the world
-Present films in a theatrical setting that brings people together to share the cinematic experience and encourages inquiry, openness and exchange of ideas
-Curate film series or events with our diverse communities in mind
-Partner with other organizations whose mission complements ours
