Our Mission

The mission of VTIFF is to enrich the community and bring the world to Vermont through film. VTIFF fulfills its mission through the following goals:

Cultivate an understanding and appreciation of cinema as an art form through curated programs
Present a diverse and inclusive range of high quality films from the US and around the world
Present films in a theatrical setting that brings people together to share the cinematic experience and encourages inquiry, openness and exchange of ideas
Curate film series or events with our diverse communities in mind
Partner with other organizations whose mission complements ours
