The Las Vegas Book Festival (LVBF) is the largest literary event in Nevada. It is a true celebration of the written, spoken and illustrated word. For more than twenty years, the city of Las Vegas along with Nevada Humanities and numerous community sponsors have worked tirelessly to bring the joy of books, learning and reading to Las Vegas. The festival annually attracts thousands of attendees of all ages.

A wide range of festival programming is built around sharing resources, developing audiences, advancing the craft of writing, and bestowing the joys of reading to all. Through the years, the festival has presented countless authors and speakers through events, sessions, readings, workshops and book signings. The festival boasts a youth component, with a children's area that includes activities for children, live author readings and illustrator demonstrations, as well as authors and panels discussing a wide range of topics from politics to Las Vegas history, romance novels, science fiction, Latino authors, thrillers and more.

There's literally something for everyone. This festival includes a plethora of events and activities, including a day-long bazaar of books, authors, readings and workshops that are free and open to everyone in an effort to foster the growth and development of the literary community in the Las Vegas valley.
