Valley Event Center Story

The HiLine Youth Hockey Association was formed in 1995 with only about a dozen skaters, but hockey has grown in popularity amongst the community of Glasgow. As the association dreamed of owning their own facility a finance committee was formed and the dream became a reality with the multi-use facility, the Valley Event Center. The first sheet of ice was laid down in 2006.

With strong community backing from fundraising, donations both monetary and volunteer time the multi-use facility has provided Glasgow with a boost to the winter economy. The Valley Event Center has hosted hockey, figure skating, car shows, spay and neuter clinics and bullarama's filling the need for a large venue.

Improvements to the Valley Event Center continue with volunteer labor and materials and also with the help of our generous community.

The Glasgow community and the members of the HiLine Youth Hockey Association are what keep the Valley Event Center alive and growing.
