The Utica Curling Club is located in the beautiful Mohawk Valley in central New York State. We are less than a five-hour drive from major metropolitan areas such as Niagara Falls, Montreal, Toronto, Boston, New York City and Philadelphia. One of the more popular excursions during the fall months is to the Finger Lakes region, where the majority of New York State wines are produced.

We are fortunate to enjoy most kinds of weather here; in fact, to paraphrase Mark Twain, "if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes." During our curling season, which runs from mid-October until the beginning of April, it can be as warm as 65F and as cold as ... well, it's darn cold. (Usually, that's during the Mitchell Bonspiel in mid-January.)

After the Francis Street building burned down in 1996, the Club built a modern facility on Clark Mills Road in Whitesboro. We have six (6) excellent sheets of ice, men's and women's locker rooms, a large warming area, a dining area, a dance floor and a bar. There is usually plenty of parking, and for special events, we charter a bus service to and from local hotels where out-of-town curlers are staying.
