The Uptown Dog Park opened in November on the Long Beach Blvd. side of Scherer Park. The dog area is near picnic tables and a nearby parking lot. More dog parks may be planned as residents see the benefits of creating safe, fun areas for dogs to run and play in City parks. The Uptown Dog Park also provides separate areas for small and large dogs to play off leash. The fenced area is located near picnic areas and a parking lot.
Hours: Dawn to Dusk, every day.
