Construction of the Red Jacket Fire Station was completed in 1900. Today, the historic Jacobsville sandstone structure is home to the Upper Peninsula Firefighters Memorial Museum, a Keweenaw Heritage Site. The museum features exhibits related to a century of firefighting history.
