University YMCA

As part of both the Coalition of Campus YMCAs (CCY) and the Y of the Greater Twin Cities, the University Y at the University of Minnesota is part of a larger community of people looking to better our world. Through leadership development and community outreach, our student leaders gain the knowledge and experience to become the future leaders of change. The University Y is a cause driven organization committed to developing the ethical leadership capacities of students in a context of social issues: Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. We do this by combining cross-cultural and community-based experiences with reflective learning.
