A sea of green would be the best description for University Park. Located in the rolling hills of east Bakersfield, on University just east of Columbus, University Park has vast areas of grass, with mature trees to keep you cool.
In addition to the grass areas, there is a sandlot style play area, individual picnic areas, complete with barbeques, and a leash free zone for your dogs. It is a wonderful place to wile away the hours with your friends or family.
