About the Union County West End Fair Association

Laurelton, Pennsylvania -- The Union County West End Fair began in 1925 as a "homecoming picnic" for the folks of Laurelton to entertain former residents who returned for a reunion visit with old neighbors, relatives and friends. The first week in August was chosen so that the picnic could feature sweet corn and was to be known as "The Corn Festival" in the early years. The fair later became an agricultural fair for all of Union County.
