About
Raymond Brigham and Richard Weller began the construction of Touisset Country Club in 1960, a family-run endeavor that sought to convert the grounds that were formerly used as farmland.
Since 100% of the construction was done by hand, some of the natural occurring hazards were left out on the course. Some of which include large boulders that provide a truly unique experience. After only one year, the first rounds at Touisset were played late in the summer of 1961.
Although TCC is a 9-hole track, that doesn't necessarily make it easy. The course is of average length, but it can be quite challenging. Once voted one of the most difficult 9-hole courses in New England, Touisset presents a test to golfers of all levels. The greens are Penncross bent grass and boast some tricky reads.
