The venue will now be known as Time Warner Cable Amphitheater at Tower City. The downtown amphitheater is owned by Forest City Enterprises. Live Nation is the exclusive concert booker and promoter of the amphitheater. The first concert attraction at Tower City Amphitheater featured Alice Cooper on October 6, 2001. The full inaugural concert season kicked off on April 24, 2002 with Sum 41 and Good Charlotte. At that time, local promoter Clear Channel Entertainment/Belkin Productions was the official and exclusive concert promotion organization for the amphitheater. Clear Channel Entertainment/Belkin Productions was renamed Live Nation effective January 9, 2006.

"Time Warner Cable is very pleased to partner with Live Nation as the Title Sponsor of Downtown Cleveland's Tower City Amphitheater," says Patrick Burke, Vice President of Marketing for Time Warner Cable. "The Amphitheater is a fantastic venue in the area and we are very proud to be associated with the great entertainment it brings to Cleveland. Time Warner has been in the Northeast Ohio area for nearly 40 years and we recently expanded into the City of Cleveland to provide digital cable, Road Runner high speed Internet, and digital home phone services. Time Warner is especially committed to strong partnerships in the community and this relationship with Live Nation gives us a unique and fun way to reach our customers."

"We are extremely excited about Time Warner Cable's partnership with Live Nation," says Sr. Vice President of Marketing and Sponsorship Sales for Live Nation-Cleveland, Barry Gabel. "Our clients, customers and goals mirror those of Time Warner Cable. Both organizations are known for producing quality entertainment for the communities they service. We look forward to developing creative promotional opportunities for both Time Warner Cable subscribers and advertisers, as well as for the consumers that attend concerts at the Time Warner Cable Amphitheater at Tower City."
