When we set our sights on a taproom & brewery in Kimberly, the Birch Street Center location deemed itself so harmonious. Long before Gordy's, Shopko's, and Kmart, when Kimberly was a young, growing, and emerging community, the Kimberly Mill drove its existence. The Birch Street Center housed the long-time presence of Eiting’s Grocery store, with close supporting retail businesses such as Van Thull's Bakery. Talk to anyone, and they have memories or know of parents and grandparents that have been to Eiting’s or have had the ultimate triple chocolate donut from Van Thull's. There was hustle and bustle in downtown Kimberly with multiple small businesses. The Birch Street Center strives to bring that connection back to Kimberly.
Timber Tap is the last phase of development for the Birch Street Center to complement Timber Lounge event & gathering place, il Bar Coffeehouse & Bistro, Peters' Boyz Texas BBQ, and Platinum Aesthetics bringing together these Kimberly family-owned businesses, each independently owned but all supporting each other.
The Timber Tap partners bring along a background in architectural work and construction. We approached the design with a vision: a modern, slightly industrial taproom with a Pacific Northwest character. The space is warm, inviting, and invigorating. Composed of a mix of wood, glass, and brick, showcasing a perfectly executed space, sure to captivate and make you want to stay (the good beer helps too!). The result of Timber Tap is a materially rich bar that feels part workshop, part living room - a place for friends, community, and togetherness.
The taproom has a total of 30 taps and features drafts brewed in-house at our on site brewery as well as other guest brewery beers and seltzers.
Occupying 1,200 square feet of the Birch Street Center, the ever-rotating array of tap beers take center stage
Come join us to drink fine beer and make new friends by bringing the community together!
