History :

Nearly 30 years of dedication has gone into making Thorne Hills Golf Course what it is today.  It has come from humble beginnings to the plush golf course that many golfers have come to call home.  Between the friendly family atmosphere and the dedication to keeping a lush course, Thorne Hills is a little piece of paradise to many working men and women.

Dan and Rosalie Thorne began the family's love for golf in 1980 when Dan's dream was realized and they opened the front nine at Thorne Hills Golf Course after the family worked as a team to clear the land and create the course.  We still have some great loyal customers who remember those days, when we were just a nine-hole course.  In 1992, the family was thrilled to be able to open the back nine and have a full 18 hole course.  Dan's dream had become reality.
