The Town of Greece Community and Senior Center

Mission:

The Mission of the Community & Senior Center is to provide a facility for the residents of Greece to engage in accessible, affordable and quality recreational, social, and educational activities.

About Us:

The philosophy of the Community and Senior Center is to assist all those residents living in the Town of Greece (Pre-school through their existing life) in their social, psychological and physiological development; as they experience personal growth through the stages of the life cycle.

The Community and Senior Center is a consolidation of the existing Town Department of the Youth Bureau and Parks and Recreation. The purpose for this consolidation is:

• To ensure that adequate prevention and intervention services are available to the residents of the Town of Greece that can assist them in reaching their fullest human potential
• To pursue and ensure collaboration and a wholistic prevention and intervention arena in which these services will be offered.
• To stimulate the existing human service programs that presently exist while developing new-found program strategies pertinent to community needs.
