The Old Field Vineyards

We are a vineyard and winery in an historic setting on the North Fork of Long Island, New York. First plantings were in 1974, making us the second oldest vineyard, followed by later plantings in 1997. All our vines are vitis vinifera, which grow the classic old world wine grapes. 

The site has been in the family since 1918 when it was changed to a family owned farm. Prior to that, the property housed Mrs. Kreutser's Park Hotel and Tavern. The hotel and tavern are still on the property though transformed into private homes. Old trees, an 1850s ice house and barns transport visitors to another time and lend a shady area to rest and enjoy delicious wines. We offer Merlots, Chardonnays, Cabernet francs and a Pinot Noir sparkling wine.
