Mission

The National Theatre "The Theatre of Presidents" has operated at the same location three blocks from The White House since 1835. The mission of the National Theatre Corporation is to keep this historic National Theatre operating, with top-quality live stage attractions. Additionally, through our outreach efforts, we bring free programs and other services to the public.

Our achievements would, of course, be impossible without the loyal and robust efforts of our trustees and staff or the great management of the Shubert Organization. Nor can we forget the funding provided through the wonderful support of our generous sponsors and contributors.
