Mission Statement:
Through exhibits, vibrant programming and rich historical resources, the Cheboygan County History Center explores the history of Cheboygan County so that residents and visitors can discover their connection to the past and be inspired to help shape their communities' futures.
The History Center of Cheboygan County, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, incorporated under the laws of the State of Michigan, and located in Cheboygan, Michigan the county seat of Cheboygan County. Cheboygan is on the northern edge of Michigan's lower peninsula on the shores of Lake Huron. The History Center is located near the downtown area and constists of four buildings open to the public.
