About Us

We live in a Country built by immigrants and refugees. A nation which is made stronger (and tastier!) by it's diversity. Sadly, our country has also struggled with welcoming the "huddled masses of the world yearning to breathe free". Every group that calls America home has struggled to achieve acceptance, fairness and justice. Today, American-Muslims are on the front lines of overcoming misconceptions and struggle to be welcome in our nation.

The Great Muslim Food Festival is an opportunity for peoples of all faiths, ethnicity, and political leanings to come together and break naan with their Muslim neighbors. To celebrate the Muslim community and their contributions to our Nation in festive and fun environment. We believe that one of best ways to get to know someone who is different then you is through food.

We hope that everyone who is our guest at this 2nd Annual Food Festival will leave with full stomachs and new friendships with their Muslim neighbors.
