About Us
It is with gratitude and humility that we acknowledge that we are learning, speaking, and gathering on the ancestral homelands of the Kanienʼkehá꞉ka or Mohawk people, who are part of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, otherwise known as the Iroquois Confederacy, who are the indigenous peoples of this land. Today, their community resides in New York State and parts of Canada. We gather in Milford, Otsego County, which is the traditional territory of the Oneida and Mohawk nations. We acknowledge and respect their enduring connection to this land, their traditions, and their contributions to our community. We pay honor and respect to their ancestors, past and present, as we commit to building a more inclusive and equitable space for all.
